About Us

We are two career marketers with over 50 years’ worth of experience and expertise between us. We met at the Cambridge University Institute for Sustainability Leadership. Troubled by marketing’s complicity in the sustainability challenges the world faces, we undertook our studies, feeling like we had devil horns growing out of our heads.Our purpose is to re-orientate and reinvigorate the behaviour changing capabilities of Marketing and business. Transforming them from an engines of over-consumption and waste generation to a powerful catalysts for positive change, in the pursuit of a sustainable world for all.We don’t claim to have all the answers, rather we work across industry, seeking to learn from all the amazing work going on and then bring that into one overarching approach. Winners of the American Marketing Association, Leonard Berry Book Award and finalists in the 2024 Business Book Awards, We are of co-author of, ‘Sustainable Marketing – the industry’s role in a sustainable future’.

I am a Head Tutor on Sustainable Marketing at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, co-founder of the Sustainable Marketing Compass and the Effectiveness 2.0 framework. I draw on three decades of cross industry experience in digital, data, AI and sustainability-driven transformation. I help the world’s largest brands reframe their competitiveness in pursuit of sustainability and stay ahead in rapidly evolving and disruptive times.
